Well it appears women have yet another reason to Hate Faith…

As if being married to the incredibly hunky Tim Mcgraw wasnt reason enough to make women envious, it seems the ever Tall, blonde and beautiful Faith Hill offered some insight into how she maintains her perfect size 4 figure when she and hubby Tim McGraw were spotted lunching at Gibsons Steakhouse in Manhattan Wednesday — in town for the premiere of Mcgraw’s new movie “The Blindside”. Gibsons staffers were amazed by slender Hill’s voracious appetite — a big New York sirloin, baked potato and even some of the steakery’s humongous turtle pie, though she did express worries ”about getting myself into that teeny-tiny dress I’ve got to wear” for the show. . Im sure the “skinny bitch” epitaphs will soon follow..Sorry ladies.

Tim McGraw and Keith Urban Bank More Than Their Wives

57146497Tim McGraw and Keith Urban are the major breadwinners in their respective households, according to a recent issue of PEOPLE magazine. The article examined the 2008 incomes of several celebrity power couples and found that two of the reigning male country music stars are earning bigger paychecks than their famous wives.

McGraw’s $70 million paycheck, from sales of his platinum album ‘Let It Go’ and from the Soul 2 Soul Tour, beat wife Faith Hill‘s $39 million that she made from the same tour and from her album sales. Urban made $35 million, also from album sales and touring, narrowly beating out the $22 million his movie-star wife, Nicole Kidman, earned from movies and endorsements.

When asked to comment in a recent interview Hill joked “This is a good thing because I dont think Tim’s “manly man” ego could handle it any other way”

Hot Property: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill list Beverly Park home at $14.8 million

As far as this country music fan is concerned, Tim McGraw could sing the yellow pages and it would still sound mighty purdy. And the fact that he recently expressed great annoyance at his record label for putting out another greatest-hits package of his songs instead of new tunes, well, it just makes me happier than a bug who missed the windshield to know that he’s thinking of us fans.

The couple’s Mediterranean on 4 acres is on the market at $14.8 million. It has six bedrooms and 7 1/2 bathrooms in 10,500 square feet. The two-story entry features limestone floors, a large skylight and a wrap-around staircase. The master suite has his and her bathrooms; the “his” bathroom is, somewhat oddly, open and connected to a state-of-the-art gym. The pool area is pretty spectacular, as is the kitchen with all stainless-steel appliances.

McGraw has sold 40 million albums and singles worldwide and won three Grammys. McGraw and Hill, both 40, ended their two-year Soul2Soul Tour in 2007, grossing $142 million; more than 2 million fans attended 117 shows in 92 cities.

He appeared in the lead role in the 2006 film “Flicka” after making his acting debut in the critically acclaimed TV show “Friday Night Lights.” He has a supporting role in the upcoming holiday release “Four Christmases.”

The beautiful Hill, a country star in her own right, has sold over 20 million records and played Sarah Sunderson in the 2004 movie “The Stepford Wives.”

Marisa Zanuck of Keller Williams Realty, Beverly Hills, has the listing.

NASHVILLE SKYLINE: That Gurgling Sound? CD Sales Down the Drain

Well, it looks like the Grim Reaper has finally come for the CD. So far this year, the bottom has absolutely fallen out of the CD market. When week after week in January, weekly sales of 60,000 units translate to a No. 1 ranking on Nielsen SoundScan’s 200 all-genre album chart, then sales are really off. That No. 1 slot is more accustomed to seeing albums with sales in the 300K to 700K weekly range. In a country of 300 million people, 60K is an astoundingly low figure.
Even country music, which still is healthier than other genres, is down significantly so far this year in sales. I have always thought that country would be the last genre to falter, because of its preponderance of sales in Wal-Mart and other big box stores and it being predominantly played on CD players in pickups, SUVs and homes.
